2.1 - Tangible Object that Relates to your Concept Idea
On the Monday class, we spent much of the time understanding and later sketching an object of ours that related to our brochure concept. For my object, I borrowed a friend's ceramic mug. This mug, in particular, has great relevance to my concept and more specifically to my first location - Vessel. Vessel sells a range of ceramics, with a lot of them being of a glazed texture and featuring contrasting colours and contours. My object was quite challenging to draw as I found it almost had too much going on in terms of merging colours and contours however the use of colour when added to a few of my drawings improved the initial outlines substantially.
